Help the Snells rebuild!

The Snell Family was among those who lost their homes to wildfires last month in Colorado Springs. They had only a short time to pack a few belongings before being evacuated from their home, only to find out days later that everything else was burned to the ground. The good news is that all the family members, including pets, are all safe and sound now. They are staying in temporary homes until they can rebuild their lives. You can help this family and get some really great family pictures out of it. Or pet pictures. Or baby pictures. Or just pictures of your feet. I'm taking 50% off my regular session fees to do some super fun mini sessions through the month of July. Very limited dates available, please email me for details.

Engaged

This session was so awesome for four reasons. Beautiful, sweet people and a beautiful location, on a beautiful day. I think it was the first day in weeks that we didn't get rained on all day. And C + C were super good sports and dealt with my lack of a voice (summertime colds are the worst) like champs. I made them up some notecards with cheesy directions on them beforehand, knowing that my whisper wasn't going to cut it. Can't wait for their Leu Gardens Wedding in December!

Happy First Birthday, Levi. Your name is awesome and you rock it :) 

Looking at the pictures we took last weekend, I remember when my son was just one year old. It's hard to believe he's ten now, and so much more than I ever imagined he would be. I think I stopped imagining how he would be as he got older, and time started to pass by faster once we had the second. Now they imagine and talk together about how they see themselves in the future, and I can't help but want to remember them as they were, little, chubby, cute, needing me. I make them promise daily that they'll always be my babies.
